Sealed bids will be received by River Heights City for the:
400 SOUTH STREET SIDEWALK – 400 EAST TO 600 EAST
The project generally includes the construction of a 4-inch thick by 4-feet wide sidewalk along the north side of 400 South from 400 East to 600 East adjacent to the existing back of curb and restoring any disturbed surfaces including roadways, existing sidewalks, and landscaping. Approximate total length is 1440 feet.
Bids will be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Forsgren Associates (435) 227-0333. Copies of the Contract Documents will be available on March 20, 2023, at the office of the Engineer located at 95 West 100 South, Suite 115, Logan, Utah 84321. Digital “pdf” copies of the Contract Documents will also be available by contacting Forsgren Associates. A non-mandatory pre-bid tour will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2023, at 11:00 am. Meet at River Heights City Building on 500 East. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is recommended. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to walk the project and become familiar with the conditions of the project site.
Bids will be received at the office of the Engineer, located at 95 West 100 South, Suite 115, Logan, UT 84321 until the hour of 1:00 pm (local time) on April 4th, 2023, at which time they will be opened and read aloud in said office.
Bid security, which must be on the Bid Bond form provided with the Construction Documents or on approved Bid Bond documents provided by the Bonding Agency, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to River Heights City, shall accompany the bid. A certified or cashier’s check may be used for the bid bond.
River Heights City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid.
