River Heights City currently has two open council seats:
- A two-month term (Nov 2023 – Jan 2024)
- A 26-month term (Nov 2023 – Jan 2026)
The vacancy will be filled at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, which meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be held at the River Heights City Office Building at 520 S 500 E.
Interested residents can submit a letter of intent, including which seat they are applying for, to Recorder Sheila Lind by Monday, November 6 at 2:30 pm, at the City Office Building (listed above).
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a registered voter.
- Be a resident of River Heights City for at least 365 consecutive days.
